The silicone dress collection was part of New York Fashion week. With the theme of “Transformation,” Flying Solo redefined the power of creativity, unity and inclusivity of an independent designer scene

 "Three designers to know "

Silicone was the material favoured by New York City-based artist Salcmannova, who debuted her first-ever collection on Saturday evening at LAFW. Her surreal pieces – flexible silicone dresses, footwear and headpieces – appeared perfectly sculpted on each model. The models wore long braids, blue paint on their faces and elaborate masks that would fit right into an episode of Game of Thrones.

"At the recent LA Fashion Week show from her brand R’s Visual Thing, Radka Salcmannova produced an event featuring dancers, a magician and what every Hollywood producer wants; a big concept. Choreographer Nina McNeely put together a dance to dramatically portray Salcmannova’s designs. Huxley Ann created a music and the magician Misty Lee performed a life magic at the show." Apparel News,2019

INSTALLATION AT PRAGUE MASARYK STATION, Everwhere Agency

“Absolute Recyclation” was a campaign from EverWhere Agency for the sweden brand Absolut Vodka in Prague.

The main idea was to convert used material into something new in order to eliminate waste and support the ecology circle. The stand up logo was saying- “To give it a second life “ As a material, we collected over five hundred empty Vodka bottles and metal tubes to create this installation.

"LOVE FOR FASHION DEVELOPED FROM DESIRE FOR FILM"

In 2014 I started working in the film industry as set designer and art director. I love the art production environment and until this day it is something that I am extremely interested in every aspect. In order to get more deeper into the film industry I have started to make my own “fashion” costumes. My goal was to show the producers and the filmmakers that I can create a character and also have a strong understanding for creating scenery and visualizing every detail.

Instead of getting noticed by more people from film industry, I got hit by numerous people from the fashion industry instead and that was the moment when all the opportunities came to me. Below you can see first costumes, masks and images from my experimental films which led me to the biggest showcase in fashion industry such as NYFW AT PIER59 or LAFW.
